Best VCS Moment
Getting to know the VCS community has been one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had in education. To see the passion for learning and enjoyment of education through a respectful and intellectual exchange has been amazing to bear witness to. To hear about the incredible experiences students are having outside of the building gives me faith that educating a child as a whole person will always be the best philosophy. I can’t wait to watch these students grow into exceptional adults and to have been a part of that successful path.

Interests and Hobbies
Being outside, hiking, golfing, skiing, cooking delicious healthful meals, reading, fashion, music, sitting with friends, and most importantly playing with my two amazing daughters, Lila (5) and Claire (3).
Growing up in Norwich, VT, I was thankful from a young age for the exposure to Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, where I attended middle and high school. This fostered a love for academia and involvement with the energy of educational communities. After a brief stint in the marketing and legal fields, I started down my path in education, which I am fortunate enough to know is my life’s calling. I taught in the Williston and Richmond schools, took a couple years off to create my own family, then returned to education in a different capacity as an instructor at The Stern Center for Language and Learning. Over the years I have served on various school committees, chaired initiatives, earned additional certifications, and provided professional development programs for educators and families. My career naturally led me to a focus on students with learning differences and supporting them in the best possible way. However, I still work with a variety of students and look to serve the education community as whole. In addition to my time at Vermont Commons I provide support to a number of independent schools and districts, as well as run an education center where we provide a variety of services for students and families. When not working, I’m with my lovely little ladies and their daddy, John, out and about having fun!
